About Píta Canta
Lupita Huizar is a Professional Vocalist, Music/Live Event Coordinator, and Voice/Piano Teacher from the San Gabriel Valley. With 18+ years of teaching/performing under her belt, she feels encouraged to influence those around her to be apart of the arts.
Lupita has toured throughout the U.S. performing with multiple cover bands and new emerging artists throughout the greater Los Angeles area as a successful lead, background, and studio vocalist.
As a coordinator, she’s had the fortunate opportunity to be apart of multiple music events facilitating sponsors, vendors and musicians alike, for both Administrative and Live Event coordination. Lupita has tenaciously been establishing her presence in the music industry as a respected musician and a professional administrative coordinator. Any project she takes on is not only treated with the upmost care but is executed with professionalism and integrity.
She is currently lead vocals for a Selena tribute band named ‘Selenamos’ playing alongside Gabriel Villa of Chicano Batman. She has also performed with the likes of Allen G. Orchestra, Nightowl Productions, The Band Smooth Touch, Son Deux, Like Vinyl, Cal Poly Pomona’s Jazz Band, Shaman Cult, and more.
Lupita holds an Associate of Art’s degree from Citrus College and a Bachelor‘s Degree from California State Polytechnic University, majoring in the Music Industry Studies program. She’s looking to further pursue her creative endeavors in the Music Industry as her career moves forward.
